The Defence Co-operation section is headed by the First Secretary, Mr Dave Morgan. He is the focal point in the High Commission for all defence commercial activity, and he is employed by the UK Trade & Investment Defence & Security Organisation, UKTI DSO.

Dave’s main roles are:

• to provide advice and assistance to UK defence companies seeking to develop marketing and sales opportunities, and to win UK defence business in Brunei Darussalam;
• to advise the Brunei Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF of UK defence equipment and material which fully meets or exceeds their stated requirements;
• to act as a focal point for both Bruneian visitors to the UK, and reciprocal visitors to Brunei where the main focus for the visit is defence equipment; and
• to liase with the Defence Section.
